General Terms and Conditions Xyleia BV
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers from and orders to Xyleia BV.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for one month, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Prices stated in quotations are exclusive of VAT and exclusive of transport from Twello, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Orders can only be placed in writing (e.g. by email) with Xyleia BV.
By placing an order, the customer indicates that he/she has read and accepts the terms and conditions included with the quotation.
Xyleia BV is not responsible for printing, typing or typing errors if, due to technical malfunctions, the price, data or other information of products is incorrectly displayed on quotations. Xyleia BV is not bound to deliver a product at an incorrectly stated price or conditions.
Natural product
Xyleia BV does not provide any guarantees regarding the preservation of the delivered products, made from natural materials.
Both wood and petrified wood may develop color differences over time.
In severe frost, small pieces of petrified wood may break off when the object is placed outside.
Wood “works” and cracks can occur, for example as a result of the air being too dry in the room where the object is placed. For our wooden products, a humidity of over 50% is recommended. It is important to monitor this, especially in periods of (extreme) frost.
Should cracks or other problems arise that require professional treatment, Xyleia BV offers the possibility to carry out this work in the workshop in Heeten. Transport costs are for the account of the customer.
Liability
Our products are usually heavy and can fall over. The customer is responsible for placing the pieces in a safe way.
Xyleia BV accepts no liability for any damage, to the customer or to third parties, caused by a product purchased from Xyleia BV, regardless of the cause.
Paying
Invoices must be paid no later than fourteen days after the invoice date. Xyleia BV remains the full owner of the delivered products until the purchase price has been paid in full. In the event of late payment, 1 percent interest will be charged on the outstanding amount (including any interest due) per month or, if applicable, part of the month, without a reminder from Xyleia BV being required. In the event of bankruptcy, suspension of payment or guardianship of the customer, the claims of Xyleia BV and the obligations of the customer towards Xyleia BV are immediately due and payable.
